• Anesthesia is a bass solo written and performed by the late Cliff Burton. I don't know of a single time when this song
  was performed live exactly as it appears on the record. True to the song's spirit, Cliff always had fun with it and it
  was never played the same way twice.
• Cliff Burton was killed in a tragic bus accident on September 27th, 1986. The song has not been played or even
  jammed on since his death, and it probably will never be played again. If you notice the song count for it go up, it's
  because missing setlists from 83 to 86 were found and added.
